Positano - Day 2- Boat Trip along the Coast



Sebastian picks us up at the busy dock. We spent quite a bit of time with him. He was a dreamer and trying to figure out how to get rich...quick.

College buddies are now travel buddies. 

Heading to La Tonnarella for lunch. Sofia Loren used to own a villa near here and in the '60's Jacqueline Kennedy often ate at the restaurant. There is even a spaghetti dish named after her, "Spaghetti Jacqueline Style." It has bacon, basil, cheese & zucchini and was really YUMMY!

Wine tasting with Ciasa Vedia of La Perla!

Old fashioned bike at the entrance of our hotel, La Perla. The owner & his daughter share some background on his grandparents that built the hotel. We toured their home behind La Perla and took a tour of the home. This grandfather helped build the first ski lift in 1946. This is the variety of wine I like...Lagrein. It is heavy like a cabernet.  The wine maker's fingerprint.
