Napoli before we FLY HOME!

The buildings are OLD with large castle type doors. No worries, to get in, a smaller door is cut into the large one! You will need the code!

Jerry is practicing his Italian...mostly with hand gestures. We drank plenty of Campari Sprits, Negroni's,  & wine the past two weeks.


The city is BUSY and full of scooters, motorcycles, cars & people!

Diane & Jerry end the night with gelato. Diane deserves a treat as she had another doctor's appointment to get the OKAY to fly after her retina tear. The doctor repeated the word "BRUTO" meaning it was a BAD tear, but the laser surgeon in the Dolomites did and excellent job and she got clearance to FLY HOME!


Leaving our hotel at 3:45AM for our flight back home.

Wine tasting with Ciasa Vedia of La Perla!

Old fashioned bike at the entrance of our hotel, La Perla. The owner & his daughter share some background on his grandparents that built the hotel. We toured their home behind La Perla and took a tour of the home. This grandfather helped build the first ski lift in 1946. This is the variety of wine I like...Lagrein. It is heavy like a cabernet.  The wine maker's fingerprint.
