DOLOMITES - Hiking and Biking!


Tomorrow we start our adventures with BackRoads. Jerry & Diane Nebbia will be joining us. We left Lincoln on the morning of September 1, 2023. We flew from Omaha-Chicago-Munich-Venice. From Venice we took a 3 hour private car ride to Bolzano.

Wine tasting with Ciasa Vedia of La Perla!

Old fashioned bike at the entrance of our hotel, La Perla. The owner & his daughter share some background on his grandparents that built the hotel. We toured their home behind La Perla and took a tour of the home. This grandfather helped build the first ski lift in 1946. This is the variety of wine I like...Lagrein. It is heavy like a cabernet.  The wine maker's fingerprint.
