Day 4 - Hike to Tabla Hut at the Pralongia Plateau

Love the flowers! Judy, another Backroads hiker from Pittsburg.


The owner of this hotel said they plant the flowers the first week in June and they tear them out on third week in September. The entire village is bright with flowers.

Mike is a trouper. He likes these flat trails...but soon comes the incline!

Wine tasting with Ciasa Vedia of La Perla!

Old fashioned bike at the entrance of our hotel, La Perla. The owner & his daughter share some background on his grandparents that built the hotel. We toured their home behind La Perla and took a tour of the home. This grandfather helped build the first ski lift in 1946. This is the variety of wine I like...Lagrein. It is heavy like a cabernet.  The wine maker's fingerprint.
